Meet our Pharmacists

Ken McPherson

Superintendent Pharmacist

Born in Aberdeen. Graduated from Heriot Watt School of Pharmacy, Edinburgh, in 1986, following which I worked for Graeme Millar Pharmacy, in Corstorphine, Edinburgh before taking over the reigns of R.S. McPherson Pharmacy from my parents in 1996.
Already an established business in Broughty Ferry, we have continually strived to move with the times and constantly look to improve the way we provide our services and the premises we practice within.
I thoroughly enjoy the day to day challenges that community pharmacy brings and take great pride in looking after the pharmaceutical needs of our Broughty Ferry community.

Audrey McAnaw

Born in Bellshill, Lanarkshire. I graduated from Strathclyde University School of Pharmacy in 1991, completing my pre-registration training with Boots the Chemist in Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1992.
Over the years I've had varied experience working for both multiple and independent pharmacies. In 2009 I achieved my qualification as a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber and use this to improve our patient's pharmaceutical care on a daily basis.
I have been part of the McPherson Pharmacy team for over six years now and love the challenge of pushing the boundaries in improving patient care to ensure our service is second to none.

Linda McPherson

I grew up in East Kilbride before moving to Dundee as a teenager. Graduation from the School of Pharmacy at what was then Robert Gordon's Institute of Technology in Aberdeen (now Robert Gordon University) was followed by a pre-registration year at Dundee Royal Infirmary.
After hospital pharmacy experience, I moved into community pharmacy and worked for various companies before joining McPherson Pharmacy over ten years ago.
I am proud to be a pharmacist at McPherson's. It is a community pharmacy totally committed to the care and well-being of it's patients and my association gives me great professional satisfaction.
